VIRTUAL RUN Event Participation Terms and Conditions

1. The Virtual Run event is designed to allow participants to easily enjoy exercise and sports, which are essential for maintaining health, through a running app.
   The Virtual Run event will be conducted in compliance with all laws.
2. Unless otherwise specified, sidewalks and parks are not exclusively for runners (running) or prioritized for them. Please observe traffic rules and etiquette, as well as facility usage rules for parks and other areas, and do not engage in behavior that disturbs others, such as obstructing general traffic.
3. Virtual Run event participants must consider their own health and physical condition before participating. No aid stations or water stations will be provided, so please prepare them yourselves as needed.
4. The organizer assumes no responsibility for any injuries (including illness), incidents, or accidents during the Virtual Run event, except in cases where the organizer is found to have acted with intent or gross negligence.
5. If a participant is unable to attend the Virtual Run event due to reasons not attributable to the organizer, the organizer will not guarantee any rights.
6. The Virtual Run event will be conducted by collecting data such as running distance and time using GPS distance measuring devices. Please note the following:
   (1) Since the app used varies depending on the Virtual Run event, please be sure to check the event guidelines.
   (2) Data from apps other than those designated by the organizer will not be accepted or collected.
   (3) The organizer is not involved in how to sync devices to the designated app, as this varies depending on the device, model, and type. Participants should contact the respective app's support for assistance.
   (4) Personal information obtained from the app designated by the organizer will be handled based on the organizer's personal information protection policy.
   (5) The organizer assumes no responsibility for measurement failures by GPS distance measuring devices.
   (6) If fraud is discovered (e.g., proxy running, records obtained using sports equipment or vehicles) or any other violation is recognized, the participant will be disqualified, and records, benefits, and rights will be forfeited. Furthermore, the participant may be barred from participating in future events hosted or co-hosted by the organizer.
   (7) When operating GPS distance measuring devices or smartphones, please check your surroundings and operate them in a safe location. ("While" operating is dangerous.)
7. In the Virtual Run event, even if an injury occurs during the event, first aid cannot be provided. Please take care of your health, such as by having a medical check-up before participating, and participate in excellent physical condition after sufficient training.
8. If facilities or venues are used for the Virtual Run event, the following will be implemented:
   (1) If an aid station is set up within the facility or venue, first aid and, if necessary, emergency transport will be provided. In this case, a person of the opposite sex may respond, or medical information of the participant may be requested from the hospital to which they are transported.
   (2) If it is determined that continued participation is difficult, an instruction to cease participation will be given.
   (3) In addition, to ensure the safe execution of the event, participants are requested to follow the organizer's instructions. (Failure to comply may result in the cancellation or cessation of participation, or non-certification of records.)
9. The right to participate obtained in the Virtual Run event cannot be transferred to a third party.
10. The rights to publish images, photos, records, etc., related to the Virtual Run event on television, newspapers, magazines, the internet, etc., and portrait rights belong to the organizer.
11. The organizer may change these terms and conditions at any time if deemed necessary. The amended terms and conditions shall become effective from the time they are posted on the website and notified to the registered email address.
12. The Tokyo District Court shall be the exclusive court of first instance for all disputes arising in connection with the Virtual Run event.
    
    
    

VIRTUAL RUN Entry Terms and Conditions

1. False declarations of name (a name that can be used for identification), date of birth, gender, nationality, place of residence, etc., are not permitted. Changes to registration details and cancellations are not permitted unless unavoidable, so please confirm before entering.
2. Participation by anyone other than the applicant (proxy participation, transfer of rights) and duplicate applications by the same person are not permitted.
3. If the participant is under 18 years old, please obtain consent for participation in this event from the participant's family, relatives, or guardian.
4. The organizer assumes no responsibility for any inability to apply due to the type of terminal device, OS, or browser software used, or for delays in application due to internet connection problems.
5. We do not check for undelivered or unreceived notifications due to incomplete registered email addresses. Furthermore, the organizer assumes no responsibility for any disadvantages incurred if emails from the organizer cannot be received due to terminal device problems (e.g., malfunctions), email reception settings, security settings, undelivered or unreceived emails due to bulk email sending, or changes to registered email addresses.
6. Inquiries and confirmations regarding application status cannot be made to the entry center or any administrative offices.
7. If found, participation rights will be revoked, and participation fees will not be refunded.
8. In cases of overpayment or duplicate payment of participation fees, cancellation of participation rights due to violation of terms, or withdrawal from participation (cancellation) for personal reasons, no refunds will be issued, nor will rights be carried over or preferential treatment be given for future Virtual Run events, regardless of the reason. The same applies if participation is not possible due to weather or natural disasters.
9. The organizer recognizes the importance of personal information and will handle personal information in accordance with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and related laws and regulations, and based on the organizer's personal information protection policy.
10. Personal information will be used to improve services for participants, such as providing participation guidance, record notifications, related information, and services from event sponsors, collaborators, and related organizations. It will also be used to provide services for future events hosted or co-hosted by the organizer of this event.
